Flag of Iraq

This horizontally striped flag proudly represents the nation of Iraq. It consists of three equal bands of color: red at the top, white in the middle, and black at the bottom. Prominently centered on the white stripe is the Takbir, 'Allahu Akbar' (God is the greatest), written in green Kufic script, symbolizing an important aspect of the country's heritage.
