Kolb's Learning Cycle Diagram
This diagram illustrates Kolb's Experiential Learning Cycle, a well-known model that outlines how individuals learn through a continuous process. The cycle begins with 'Concrete Experience' (CE), where a new experience or situation is encountered. This is followed by 'Reflective Observation' (RO), where the experience is reviewed and considered. Next, 'Abstract Conceptualisation' (AC) involves forming new ideas or modifying existing ones based on the reflections. Finally, 'Active Experimentation' (AE) puts these new concepts into practice, leading to further concrete experiences and thus perpetuating the learning loop. It's a fundamental representation of how experience is transformed into knowledge.
